Normally, we wouldn’t include a MacBook in this review because you usually don’t see them new below 1000 dollars. However, the MacBook Air MC968LL/A is a smaller version of the MaBook line and actually retails for $999. People who have MacBooks love them, but not quite as much as the folks that bought the HP Folio 13-1020US, so this is our second place ultralight.  Even though this came out with slightly higher ratings than the HP Folio, we believe that ultimately, you’ll find the storage and memory limitations something that will diminish overall performance. From a hardware perspective, you get much more in the other ultralight options listed in our review (See the entire review here), but if you want a MacBook and a thousand dollars is your price limit, this is your chance to get one below list price.
